NAC’s wetting and dispersing additives are used to wet, disperse, and stabilize pigments (inorganic & organic) and fillers in the liquid phase consisting of binders and solvents (water and the entire range of organic solvents of varying polarity). These additives prevent the re-agglomeration of pigments and fillers and the formation of flocculates. Good wetting and dispersing of pigments and fillers result in high gloss of coating systems, viscosity stability, prevent flocculation, phase separation & sedimentation of particles, time and cost savings, and ensure the long-term stability of such systems. The behavior of wetting agents and dispersants is governed by their chemical composition and structure. You will find more useful information in our TDS (technical data sheet) and MSDS (safety data sheet).
